That's a Wrap: Holiday Recitals
Teamwork makes the dreamwork-- 3 Holiday Recitals!
This year, our studio hosted not one, but three wonderful student Christmas recitals—a testament to the efforts of our students and the dedication of our teachers.
Each recital was unique, filled with music that ranged from endearing first-time renditions of Jingle Bells and Jolly Old Saint Nicholas to polished performances of beloved holiday classics. I appreciate that we had performers of all ages and stages of learning music grace the stage. It is such an encouragement to all those who enjoy our recitals. The students’ hard work and growth were evident in each performance. Seeing the variety of instruments on stage; piano, guitar, ukulele, violin, viola, cello and harp, was inspiring.
While I couldn't be there this year due to illness, I had the benefit of receiving the recordings. I still feel the joy and pride for each one of our performers and families represented. A special thank you to Vinny for stepping up, in my absence, and emceeing the recitals for us. A special shout out to the rest of Team Giacoletti for attending to every detail, including Jeff Hooker for helping out with event flow coordination. Thank you also to Mira Costa College for allowing us to enjoy your lovely Concert Hall. You are all appreciated!
To our students: You’ve made this season special with your music. Thank you for bringing your best selves to lessons each and every week. Thank you for spreading cheer. We are grateful to be doing our musical lives with each of you. To our families and audiences: Thank you for your support and encouragement. Without the parents, grandparents, and other caregivers doing the weekly drive, encouraging practice at home, and bringing our performers to recitals dressed up and ready to go, none of this would be possible. You are making dreams come true. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Three recitals and one community brought together by the power of music—what a way to close out the year!
